	<description><![CDATA[<img src="http://features.cgsociety.org/gallerycrits/114449/114449_1199832205_small.jpg"><br><br>Obvioulsy I was inspired by the Davy Jones character from Pirates of the Carribean.  I imagine my character to be a hidden daughter.  She has tentacles for hair (I will attach another shot).<br />
<br />
It took a month to make this Model and I lived surrounded by books about sea creatures!  The background is Castle Point Beach, New Zealand.<br />
I would really appreciate some critiquing.<br />

The orginal model was smaller than the outcome.  I  created this model to be able to be animated. I ended up using a slightly different model for the animation I was working on (which can be seen in the next image).<br />

I aimed to create a feeling of pensiveness and moodiness although 'sulkiness' best decribes this image. Also I used all images in this portfolio to test the effects of using one default spot light.  Using one spot light considerably sped up rendering time.<br />
